In the Hall of the Mountain King是挪威著名剧作家易卜生的代表作之一培尔•金特中的伴奏。培尔•金特 (Peer Gynt，宽式IPA：/per gʏnt/)，出版于1867年11月14日。1876年2月24日首演于克里斯蒂安尼亚。该剧以韵文写成，充满着魔幻色彩。


In the Hall of the Mountain King是挪威作曲家Edvard Grieg（格里格）所作的《培尔•金特组曲》中的一首。培尔•金特特组曲，谱于1875年。培尔•金特组曲原有23乐章；1888年至1891年间葛利格将其中的8个乐章抽出来而成为今天两组各4个乐章的组曲。
